We are a congenial group of parents, singles and couples, and a few
"kid-friendly" singles. We range in age from mid-30s to 50-ish. So
far, our kids range in age from 2 to 12, although we welcome children of all ages.
The adults are well educated, witty, and urbane professionals who mostly live and work
in metro NYC. Our kids are, well, kids. We all have varied interests, too
numerous to list, and we come together here to have a great summer vacation with our
family and other families.
Our house is very family-oriented and child-centered. There are no drugs nor
smoking permitted in the house. The after-dinner cigar smoking contingent have
learned to rough it outside. We enjoy fine meals (as long as they can be barbequed),
fine wines and good conversation.
Apryl & Rich are the house managers, and we have a 6 year old son. This is
our 6th year running this kind of share house in Fair Harbor, and it
will be our 3rd year in this house. About 75% of the
shares were in the house last year, most for several years now. We're looking for
some like-minded, fun, and interesting people to join our group this summer.
